1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of dataroomworks.com and the communications you receive from Data Room Works, a software and mobile app development studio operated as a sole proprietorship by Cristian Buscu (“Data Room Works,” “we,” “us”). By using this website or our text messaging program, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. SMS Messaging Terms

Program description

Data Room Works sends text messages to clients and to people who have contacted us, including project updates, scheduling and appointment coordination, follow-ups on inquiries, service notifications, and assistant messages from Elena, our client partnerships assistant, in response to your requests.

How you opt in

You consent to receive text messages from Data Room Works when you (a) text our number +1 224-328-2422, (b) call that number and verbally agree to receive texts, or (c) give your mobile number directly to Elena or Data Room Works and agree to receive texts about your project or request. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. We do not send marketing messages to numbers that have not opted in.

When consent is given by phone or in person, we use this script: “Can Data Room Works text you at this number about your project — updates, scheduling, follow-ups, and messages from Elena? Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Our terms and privacy policy are at dataroomworks.com/terms and dataroomworks.com/privacy.” We send texts only after you say yes, and our first message confirms your enrollment and repeats the STOP and HELP instructions.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. After you text STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again (for example, by texting START). You can also ask us to stop by email or phone.

Carrier disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

3. Use of This Website

You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to any non-public areas, systems, or APIs, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Project Services

Information on this website is general and does not create a client relationship. Software, mobile app, and support engagements are governed by a separate written proposal or statement of work agreed between Data Room Works and the client. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for that engagement.

5. Intellectual Property

The Data Room Works name, logos, website design, and content are the property of Data Room Works. Ownership of custom deliverables built for a client is set out in that client’s project agreement.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

This website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Data Room Works is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our messaging program.

7. Governing Law and Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision.
